Welcome to our new blog! Lisa and James have been going nuts trying to get our new blog and website up and running for quite awhile. Now, the day has finally come!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Lisa and James or haven’t heard about our rebranding, here’s the deal in a nutshell. Lisa and James are a husband and wife wedding photography super duo. We have been shooting weddings for many years now, but over the last 6 to 9 months, we have felt our brand, Photography by Lisa & James, didn’t really fit our style. That’s probably because James was in charge of all that logo and design work himself, which, much like a doctor operating on herself, is not a good idea. So, we found our design savior, Eisuke. Working with Eisuke we came up with a new understanding of what our work is like today and where we would like to go in the future. Once we had a handle on all of that, all we needed was a name and a logo. Voila, Elle Jae was born!
As of today, Photography by Lisa and James is officially Elle Jae Weddings! Same great people, still great pictures, new identity. Along with our new blog, we have a new website at ELLEJAE.COM
We’re super excited to see our photos from the wedding of Charlene & Chris featured as a real wedding in the current issue of Today’s Bride! Take a look at our post from their wedding here to see more photos and find all the awesome vendors who were involved. BTW, that beautiful Leica camera is not just a paper weight, I’ve been using it more and more to shoot film these days.
