Vendor of the Every Other Week or So- Cinematt

CineMattCineMatt on Vimeo

We cross paths with many videographers in our line of work and most are pretty good, professional, etc…  But, every so often we come across someone we seem to really click with, which is great, though not really important to our brides and grooms.  Sometimes, however, we click with someone who does a great job and who has a similar sense of responsibility toward their client as we do.  That’s the trifecta we are looking for when we pick a vendor we love!

Which is what brings us to Matthieu Meynier – Cinematt.  Always a pleasure to work with, Matthieu creates amazing wedding films with a journalistic slant.  Take a look at the film pictured above to see a recent wedding Matthieu shot in his native France, and I think you’ll see the skill and artistry Matthieu possesses. While you’re on Vimeo, take a look at some of his other films, too

Vendor of the Every Other Week or So- Kathryn Kenna

OK, so I have to admit I’ve been lax in my highlighting of awesome vendors.  Maybe I should call this ‘Vendor of the Every Few Months if You’re Lucky’ .  I not unrealistic about my shortcomings…  But this time it was worth the wait.  One of our most favoritist people to work with is Kathryn Kenna

We’ve been fortunate to work with Kathryn on a few weddings of the past couple of years and have been so impressed by her skills.  Phenomenal handling of lots of details, calm under pressure, quick action to resolve problems…  all traits which are key for a good coordinator and all traits which Kathryn has in abundance.  Add to that her great personality with a down to earth vibe and you’ve got yourself one fabulous person to have on your team.

In that rainy day shot above, the anonymous hand holding up Jen’s dress belongs to Kathryn

Vendor of the every other week or so- Andrew Hsu Studio MSV

It’s been awhile since I posted one of my Vendor of the Every Other Week Or So posts, but I’m bringing forward a great vendor for you so I hope it was worth the wait. Andrew Hsu of Studio MSV has really impressed Lisa and I with his fresh take on wedding videography.  Andrew has moved his business away from the traditional (and often dreaded) wedding video by incorporating Super 8mm, High Definition video and bringing a hand crafted artisan touch to the movies he creates.  Check out his ”artisan wedding movies for the couture bride”

Like Lisa and I, Andrew puts great value on rapport with his clients and he customizes his services to suit the bride and groom’s needs.  So, check out his site and let him know we sent you!
