When two lovely Napa winemakers want to get married, do they do it at a winery? Nope, they head to San Francsico’s lovely City Hall.  Jacqueline and Marc had a sweet ceremony with just a couple of family members in attendance a few weeks ago.  I just love Jacqueline’s dress!

It’s so great to be out of the office shooting a couple of times a week after a slow winter.  As I often tell my clients, taking the photos is fun, the work is sitting in the office editing, post producing, photoshopping, Quickbooksing, etc…  It really is why we do what we do, we love taking photos, we love interacting with our brides and grooms and we love a bit of fresh air.

Baseball season is here! Hiten, being a huge SF Giants fan, wanted to start his engagement session at AT&T Park in his appropriate fan gear.  Lucky for him, Dipti obliged despite her split team loyalties (notice below how she switches jerseys half way through the shoot).  We scored on the lovely day, one of the first beautiful spring days we’ve had. After AT&T Park we covered some ground, going from Potrero Hill to Golden Gate Park to Baker Beach to the Financial District and wrapping up on Market Street.

It’s not too often that I get to shoot somewhere totally unlike anywhere I’ve shot before, but Janet and Paul’s e-session gave me that opportunity.  Where?  At a middle school!  Schools tend to be off the radar for most of us photographers.  Janet & Paul met back in the day while they attended school together (it was a high school back then).  Roaming the campus brought me right back to my own high school days, the picnic tables, the portables, the low architecture of California schools… all made me realize just how old I am.  But I digress.  Janet, Paul and I had a lovely time shooting at their old school, China Camp, and Sausalito. We totally scored on the weather, which was great since our previous shoot was scratched due to rain.  Hope you enjoy the photos!

I just finished up working on Dana & Marty’s e-session photos and i’m happy to bring them to you.  We spent a few hours roaming around the Stanford campus shooting in just a small number of the gorgeous spots available. Sometimes that is the hard part, having to limit myself to just a few locations. Alas, my poor couples, whose cheeks already hurt from smiling, whose feet already pound from walking, whose goose bumps already have risen in the cold; they would probably shoot me if I kept pushing for more shots.

You know I love shooting at San Francisco City Hall and Alice & Gledston’s wedding a few days ago was just wonderful.  I’m so happy we had such a warm, beautiful day to shoot (well, warm by SF standards).  Having a great experience on your wedding day is the best way to kick off married life.  Enjoy!
