Both of the barns on the property are fine examples of English “scribe ruled” construction. When you walk through the doors of Jackson House Eatery, you walk into their home, which is also a working farm, restaurant, and beautiful cocktail bar. All of the pieces of hardware on the doors are handmade, including the original “Norfolk” period thumb latches.
The Fournier’s grow about 80% of the produce during the season themselves. Every single time.
Wine added after we assured we would keep it onsite. What's more, the family that owns and runs it welcome their guests warmly into their homestead as family. We snagged one of those tables for just a delightful outdoor experience.
