An interesting thing has been happening here lately, we are getting a lot of calls from out of town couples who are spending some of their honeymoon time in San Francisco. Melissa & Ira are just such a couple. They were married in their hometown of Atlanta, headed out to SF for a honeymoon and decided to get some pictures in a few amazing spots around the bay. Since it was a super windy/chilly day, we started off at San Francisco City Hall which was the perfect spot for Melissa to wear her super cute dress and was our only indoor location. A quick change into some locally bought jackets (happens a lot when out of towners come in the summer, they don’t bring anything warm and need to buy something here) and jeans and we were off to Muir Woods. It’s been years since I’ve been the these woods and I forgot how beautiful they are! The majestic redwoods and the warm streaming sun created a wonderful opportunity. Our last spot was Chrissy Field for more exposure to the chilly/windy, but we did get some cool shots of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Melissa and Ira were so awesome! Although we’d never met in person, they moved right into a really comfortable in front of the camera mode and let their personalities shine. We had a blast (at least I did and I think they did too ;-) Want to see more? Check out the slideshow of Melissa & Ira.
